Endodontic Solutions | Dr. Gary Glassman | Ontario

An informative lecture on more challenging endodontics including: the management of the difficult case, calcified canals, locating and treating the MB2 canal, apical 1/3rd management, anaesthetising the "hot" tooth, providing painless treatment and controlling post operative pain.

As a participant you will be able to observe live patient demonstrations and perform your own demos using the applied practical learning techniques that are taught throughout the course.​

This comprehensive two-part hybrid programme includes a self-paced online endodontic access component followed by three full days of in person instruction – teaching 3 different NiTi Systems:

  • Learning about treatment planning and case prevention

  • Endodontic regeneration and revascularization

  • Anaesthesia, pain control and antibiotics 

  • Accurately locate the apical terminus and troubleshooting tips for apex locators 

  • Endodontic access

  • Cleaning and shaping using the latest nickel titanium shaping systems and irrigation protocols 

  • Using the latest nickel titanium shaping system

  • Obturation-continuous wave of condensation

PRE-WORK: SELF PACED LEARNING ENDODONTIC ACCESS - 8 hours

ACCESS presented in partnership with Dr. L Stephen Buchanan and DELabs Online step-by-step instruction

Participants will receive the kit 2 weeks prior to the start of the course and will be required

to complete the ACCESS pre-work 1 week prior to PART 2 DAY #1 on Thursday.

DAY #2 FRIDAY 8 HOURS

• Bugs and Drugs: Pain Control in Endodontics and Antibiotic Treatment

• Computer generated anaesthetic delivery system HANDS ON

• Accurately locate the apical terminus and troubleshooting tips for apex locators

• Provide predictable Glide Paths using efficient orifice openers and NiTi rotary -

  Glide Path files HANDS ON

• Shape the root canal space using ProTaper GoldTM Rotary NiTi System in a safe and

  efficient manner HANDS ON

• Shape the root canal space using the NEW ProTaper UltimateTM Rotary NiTi System in a safe and efficient manner where the focus will be on "dentin preservation" HANDS ON

• Shape the root canal space using the NEW Reciproc BlueTM Reciprocating NiTi System in a safe and efficient manner HANDS ON

DAY #3 SATURDAY 8 HOURS

 

• 3-D Disinfection of the root canal system

• Endovac apical negative Pressure irrigant Delivery System

• EndoActivator sonic irrigation

• Obturation: Continuous Wave of Condensation

• Obturation: Gutta Core Carrier Obturation System

• Restoration of the endodontically treated tooth

 

HANDS ON ROTATION

• Continuous Wave Obturation AND Gutta Core Obturation,
